4:04 L-shaped or "angled" jacks (plugs) actually cause the wire to snap internally as they stick out and rub on the inside of your pocket - if you're jogging you can break the wires in less than 10 miles! As with my Sony MDR EX90 - dead in under a week! I've used my iPod Nano-packaged pair (straight plug) since and they've lasted over 500 miles (1 year)! Shame, because the Brainwavz's wires are meant to be stronger than most. NB - Brainwavz, AKA, ViSang.
