Kalonzo opposed to Imanyara bill

Vice president Kalonzo Musyoka says it would be futile for lawmaker Gitobu Imanyara to introduce the bill seeking to establish a local tribunal to try suspects of the post election violence without first seeking wider consensus from members of parliament. Parliament is split on how to deal with perpetrators of the post election chaos, with some holding the view that key suspects ought to be taken to the International Criminal Court. The VP was speaking at a meeting with leaders from the greater Ukambani where he hails from.

Thanks Hon Muthama for reminding us of '92and '97 we Kenyans have a tendency to forgive n forget too fast n ur politicians have learned how to exploit that. take the dudes to the hague, it saves us money and there is achance there of seeing some prosecutions but not in the Kenya atleast not in this generation
