Apple made some pretty big announcements yesterday at their WWDC event in San Francisco. The biggest for me was what they called "The Death of the File System." Up until now, the most difficult thing to teach new computer users was how to effectively use the file system. With the new FREE iCloud service coming in Fall 2011, users' documents follow them from device to device without any effort on their part as long as they are logged in with their Apple ID. Edits to documents, spreadsheets and presentations can be made on the road with an iPhone or iPod touch, on an iPad or at home or work on a Mac.
