Thanks for posting this video. Im up thru Vol. 6, My wife grew up on Don Pedro Island and her mother has lived there for 15+ years. This is probably my favorite place to vacation in the U.S. My wife and I live in Atlanta Ga. and go scalloping every year in Homosassa spings. I would love to take a trip around the Great Loop one day, But I would have to take your video along or I would end up camping on the shoals Ha Ha... Anyways, Thanks again for posting this. Be safe out there and God Bless!!!

I forgot to mention, there is also a very active user group: plug C-Brats into your search engine. (youtube doesn't let us post direct links)

Most of these boats are used in much heavier water than we have in Florida. They are extremely safe. I'm a mere piker compared to many in C-Dory boats. Plug: Cruising America - Halcyon Days into your search engine and scroll down to Alaska or Inside Passage (or any of the rest). My boat you can see plenty of on "Intracoastal" or "Okeechobee". Good luck out there!

Do you have a picture of your boat? I have been trying to convince my wife and 8 year old son that your trip through this area is very safe. Thanks.
Yeah but they stopped the dredge now cause ep and to come in and screw everything up

@frontierrays14 Sad that we simply take it. In reality, it is our own fault for doing so. There are tons of seafood that come in on that channel and the green freaks have prevented much needed dredging for most of my adult life. Thank God for the old timers who had the balls to build the infrastructure that we depend on today for food, clothing, and all our necessities - they didn't hand-wring or complain, they just did it.

Great videos! My wife jan & I are building a boat for just this kind of cruising. Hope to start next summer on the lakes of the Black Hills & maby the Missouri River. Thanks for the adventures.

I took a quick look at your model video, good looking tug. Looks very similar to a Nordic 26 in proportion. What footage are you building?
