http://www.FTV.com/videos SAO PAULO - While top Brazilian models Izabel Goulart and Ana Beatriz Barros certainly made a statement at the Animale show during Sao Paulo Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012-2013, it was the appearance of British model/actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley that really stole the show. This was a pretty big deal since Huntington-Whiteley has been trying to establish herself as an actress and modeling has been thrown on the backburner (she wasn't even in the Victoria's Secret show.) Huntington-Whiteley took the place of the model's current brand rep, model Raquel Zimmerman. Perhaps the brand wanted to show off their sophisticated foray into the fashion world--their Fall 2012 collection was inspired by Russian aristocracy, and you could see the effects in the patterns and details on the dresses and the colors, which went along with the color trends of SPFW this season (camel, buttercup yellow and gold, beige, and some red) and evoked that Eastern European aristocratic theme. Also of note, the velvet looks that seem like they were dipped in water.
