  • for your information o toole. roads dont last forever

  • your a tool alright. and full of shit

  • Lies, lies lies....From an outside point of vue (France) it's hilarious and a bit sad at the same time.

Anyway, don't listen to that Tool(e) and please understand that HSR has nothing to do whatsoever whith commuting : it's an alternate solution for short haul flights, and, if well handled, to car trips on dedicated routes between BIG CITIES NOT TOO FAR AND NOT TOO CLOSE APART. Ideally for the US : SF-LA and Boston -NY-Washington.

  • He's a "train nut" or he's a nut who hates trains, especially High Speed Trains. Seems like it because his job requires him to go accross the country to convince YOU that this is a bad idea courtesy of the oil industry, Enjoy!

  • Is the vehicle efficiency gain determined under gridlock conditions? It seems trains would bypass the delays caused from intense gridlock on the highways during rush hour

  • There are all types of "Rail Nuts" So am I, and I don't agree with you or your lobby! First of all if you like trains why don't you know Amtrak has been breaking ridership records (where they have space) for 6 years now. People are leaving their cars. Most cars on the road do not have 3 passenger miles per gallon. It's mostly one person that adds up to one! I have ridden Amtrak with 800 people on the train! Is it bankers and lawyers that get off at Normal and Joliet?

  • @phippsed The issue is the road and air people get just about 95% of the government transportation money.Under their plans much of our transportation system is a mess! We ruined cities, a trillion dollars ayear now in imported oil which fund wars all over the world.

  • Show us then.
