it's "VIBES. . . . . VIBRATINS"
"Stakes Is High" is one of the best classic hip-hop tracks ever produced. It's sound is so timeless. Of course, it makes sense being that the baseline and sample were taken from Miles Davis. It was that type of brilliance that went into producing hip-hop's greatest sounds which is what's missing from much of the present day hip-hop.

I miss the old days and the excitement you got from buying a new album from De La, Tribe, Co. Flow, Freestyle Fellowship, Legends, Sebutones or just about anything up until the early 2k's. They just don't make it like they use to!

Stake Is High is one of the greatest hip hop songs ever recorded... I'll never forget the first time I heard this song on a mix show back in the 90's. I feel you robot.

I'm going to miss De La Soul again next month due to working off shore as i do with almost every freaking gig i want to see. I think i'd cry if i seen stakes is high live!

Saw them for the third time in April on my birthday and then again in September at this show. They're so great live. De la + Dill is perfection.
