hey, you are exactly right! thats what i was thinking when i saw that clip. I voted for Obama but when i saw that, I saw that Obama was somewhat close minded. I did lose all scholarships when i was caught with 1/4 sack of pot.. Luckily I have a job that can pay my tuition, but i have to work 40 hours a week as well as attend class to pursue my goals. This is all because of the war on drugs which Obama laughs at, even though he admitted to have snorted cocaine.....which i have never done.
you got duped thinking he has any control. he is owned by big business. i didn't vote ... there wasn't any real person to vote for. he's a good car salesmen, that's all.
Of course he isn't listening, apparently those who voted him in didn't listen to him, he never said he would legalize it. If you wanted the prohibition on drugs to end you should have vote for Mike Gravel or Ron Paul.
You got it wrong, he said no it wasn't a good way to stimulate the economy.
The question that was asked, would legalizing marijuana be good for the economy, does warrant amusement as it is kind of a funny question to ask.
Do note that had Obama given even a hint of supporting the legalization of marijuana, those on the right and center would have hit him hard on the issue. During a time when he has so many things on his plate, the obvious thing for Obama to do is ignore legalization.
