Wow, Fascinating!!! Dig Hal, I covered some of his playing on drums right here on YT, such as California Dreaming, Stone Soul Picnic, The Monkees Theme, etc. Read his autobiography too. During the 60s I thought that it was interesting that every band or song out of LA had a great drummer/drumming, then later found out it was all Hal.
