US Navy medical video detailing a shoulder dislocation, including two possible ways to reduce it, or pop it back in.
NOTE: This video is not intended to replace professional medical treatment. If you believe you have a dislocation, proceed immediately to an emergency room or contact the local EMT.

I've dislocated my shoulder so many times, it's not even funny. In my experience, the second way works much better.

  • guys for shoulder dislocation, would you prefer open surgery as they said the results are excellent or arthscopic one with bad to middle results.

  • @abdulrahmanMuhmmad I'd go for the open surgery, it's a bit longer in recovery but it's better in the long run.

  • my shoulder is popped out right now and it wont go back in!! hurts so bad mannn

  • @fr0zdify You should have gone to the hospital instead of posting that it won't go back in. This is an emergency training video only, if you dislocate your shoulder, you should seek immediate medical attention.

  • nice one with this posted video, mine came out this morning, n gettin to the hospital wasne really an option wi scotland absolutly covered in knee deep snow almost, lol talk about timing.got me out of a real jam, appreciated x

  • @pba11er13 surgery

  • My shoulder has dislocated about 10 times in the past 3 years. The first time it dislocated I nearly passed out from the shock and I had to go to the hospital for treatment. Ever since then I've always reduced it myself using this method, though I just learned this method through trial and error, seeing as how the hospital didn't tell me how to fix it on my own. One thing I've noticed is that the more often I dislocate it, the further I have to rotate my arm for it to pop back in.

  • That is one badass s.o.b.

  • Text book it is supposed to be under GA with Relaxants. I observed one without both, TONS of screaming!

    Thanks for the upload.

  • Thanks a lot! My shoulder popped out last night as it has many times but I was by myself so no one could assist me to put it back in place. I was in severe pain for over a half hour trying to put it back in. I went online and found your video, within 5 seconds of seeing your video, I did the 35 degree angle with my arm and bam, it popped right back in. I strongly recommend this method.
