@researchologist Are you sure that you understand the theory that you're arguing against?
-
We say evolution is proven because you can directly observe evolution on a small scale, it doesn't take that much of an imagination to assume how it would affect life over billions of years.
-
@researchologist There is natural evolution every time i hear about the new flu virus. Someone doesn't make them, they are slight mutations of last years and the years before. If they did not mutate and evolve, I would get sick a few times from the few different strains of flu and never get stick again. But because their DNA is programmed to mutate in order to increase the evolution rate, there are new strains every year. Have you heard about the new strain of staff infection?anti-antibacterial!

@Strikerklm96 Where did you see natural evolution? It's utter nonsense to claim you were the first one the see a cabbage turn in to a frog! No matter how you may wish or dream in the natural world a dog will always be a dog, and a friggin turnip will not turn in to rose bush!

Will evolution be called into question now that the similarity of chimpanzee and human DNA has been reduced from >98.5% to ~95%? Probably not. Regardless of whether the similarity was reduced even below 90%, evolutionists would still believe that humans and apes shared a common ancestor. Moreover, using percentages hides an important fact. If 5% of the DNA is different, this amounts to 150,000,000 DNA base pairs that are different between them!
-
@researchologist You're right, maybe god just created similar DNA. Then again, my mom and me don't have 100% the same DNA, that does prove evolution. So with a small amount of dna differences from my mother present, a really distant cousin would have even more different dna. Its that logic that concludes that 98.8% means they're our close cousins. It doesn't in of itself prove evolution, it proves common close ancestry
-
@generosos87 Yeah, and we're actually related to mice and other rodents. After the primates, rodents are actually close relatives to us.
-
@researchologist its not enought o prove evolution but theres more that does. however you are very wrong, it is close enough to prove we are related. rodents and primates have been proven to be related as well, as both chimps and humans share 90 to 92 percent of our dna with the common mouse, and 88 percent with guinea pigs and capybaras. haha, biology is a wonderful field you should really do alot more research into it
-
Yes, people research the difference in human & chimp DNA. That 98.8% likeness needs to be understood as the .2% difference amounts to OVER 6 MILLION different pairs THAT ARE NOT ALIKE! That's 6,000,000 folks! Not 2, and not close enough to be related or prove evolution.

Simply using capslock on the word "fact" can't bring theocracy to science. Irreducible complexity has been shown to be absolutely absurd, every time its been argued. If your actual aim was to discover, you'd know that already, as research is freely available and plentiful.
The FACT is that you have a prior existing given, which is metaphysical in nature, and now you're only believing what you want to, concerning evolutionary science. Sadly, it's all bad science when religion weighs in.

Just wait till the religious loons come along to slander this as this dose side with evolution but evolution is proven fact how long can they ignore it
