KQED interview with Professor Grant Goodall, Doctor of Linguistics and current director of NASK. Part 1 (filmed June 28, 2000)
"Grant the Grammarian;" Grant describes how long he's been teaching Esperanto, how he got interested in it, where and how he learned it, his local group, seeing the language function as it was designed to do. Also briefly talks about the structure and origins of Esperanto itself, a "standard human language, an "ordinary off-the-rack" language, designed with common-sense.
NASK is a 3 week immersion program to study the international language, Esperanto.
