  • Looks like he autorotated it himself by shutting off the motor and then saving it at the last minute. It's either that or the motor had a little bit left to give there at the end. Sounded pretty healthy to me and like he had throttled down on purpose.

  • @helloman1976

you are correct, looking back, thats what happened.

  • this is my video from my trex 600. mine is about 3 lbs extra with the cam set up.i even have wood blades and it autoed nicely! key is get that forward motion going as well. the reason why it shut down was i throttle down too much and not in dle up mode. i shut it off! what a looser!

  • that must of felt fun

  • @cheddar1100 Electronic Speed Control

  • What is a esc?????

  • I had this same issue, but at much lower altitude. My problem was a overheated esc. Still worked due to overheat protection, but with almost no power. So head rpm was dropping. During final touchdown, it had cooled down enough to give me some power.

  • hey im really considering getting thins helicopter for doing aerial photography now in testing camera's on it have you had any problems with vibrations? also is it tough to tune or start up or anything like that, that i should be aware of before jumping into it?

  • Autorotation? Did you say that to get as many views as possible? UNSUBSCRIBED!

  • That aint know autoration, motor kicks in at the end... plus at the hight although autoration is possible the landing would be fast and hard and most def break the skids. Why do people lie about videos, this is a fake for sure.

  • @djdaveq It came back into the soft start.. hehe, i did a flip.. and realised i was in normal mode.. same effect.. hahah

  • That was a sorry excuse for an auto rotation but i must say he was up there i would have to say at least 1000' over a body of water. and the filming was nice Good job. Just work on doing a true auto and not saying something just to get people to watch.
