For those who are wondering, Kenshiro is the main character from an extremely classical anime series called "First of the North Star". "You are already dead" is the popular catchphrase that Kenshiro states before his enemies violently split/explode.
I'm not quite sure, but the delayed death of the cow might be in relations to the fact that Kenshiro often said "You will die in X seconds".
