  • Hmm, this would happen in a void environment, right?

Because there is no friction with the air, and so the balls don't stop.

  • Resonance happens also in a real environment, of course with more dampened oscillations.

In this example I lowered the friction to the minumum possible in blender parameters.

  • pendula....:).....Very Nice!!!!!

  • And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how physics.

  • @punkchick028 what happens here is resonance. resonance is the phenomenon where a forced frequency (the most left pendulum) is equal to the natural frequency ( the 2nd last pendulum), thus increasing the natural frequency's amplitude to the maximum..

pendulums with equal length exerts equal natural frequency, hence, resonance occurs. :D

  • the 4. st pendulum resonated with 1.st

  • How do I build a single simple pendulum in BGE with no friction ? I've tried a ball pivot constraint and set damping to zero but the pendulum gradually slows down. How do I maintain constant amplitutde ?

    Thanks.

  • Bello, yo quiero uno

  • SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS!!!

  • cosa asi!

  • @coldlogic1 that was my thought or double..

like octave on a fiddle string leaving harmonic still points

  • what am I missing
