In April 2011, ManoaDNA accompanied Hawaii Tourism Japan on the project Aloha tour bringing humanitarian aid to the victims of the March earthquake and tsunami.

As a tribute to the strength of the people they met in the shelters, ManoaDNA offers "Feel The Light." Teaming up with 'Ukulele player, Jake Shimabukuro, this song is for sale on all major online retailers, as well as ManoaDNA.com. All proceeds from the sale of this song will go directly to the Tohoku University hospital, the main hospital system servicing the victims.
