Orban Optimod TV 8182A

Orban Optimod 8182A Test. This test was done with Rivendell radio automation software. Unfortunatly the sound is really bad and in mono due to Youtube processing. don't warm me about my screwed screen during the Rivendell capture, this is a CRT and it's totally ok ;)

Congrats on getting Rivendell setup. It took me a week to get it up and running (using ALSA and non ASI cards). I should post some video of my setup. My processing right now only goes as far as a symetrix agc and CRL smp 850.

Great video and lovely Orban. I made a lot o 8100/XT2 intallations in the 90´s and cannot find today a sound like it was with the 8100!

What is the software name on the laptop? Is it a Mac or Win version? Very interesting... :-)

Thank you. The software is called "Spectre", it runs on Mac OSX.

Hehe, you're right, this processor is really nice with soft music like Steely Dan. I've put that music because I wanted to show how it sounds with modern (not hyper-compressed source) music.

I'm on the way of recaping/rechiping/modify my stock 8100A, I'll put some samples with only the 8100A and slight modifications to show how it can sound alone.

Très belle vidéo de cet optimod TV qui en vrai dispose d'un son vraiment très intéressant. Ca sonne bien comme tous les produits orban d'ailleurs.
