Shame the in-game sound didn't get an update. As much as I think ARMA II is vastly superior to both Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 in realism the sound of distant small arms in ARMA II is pretty awful. Still, ARMA II is still the premier modern first person shooter if you prefer a semblance of simulation over cartoon action.

@Dslyecxi how the hell do you film arma so well? is there some kind of playback software that captures the gameplay and plays it back in game wit hthe abllility to orbit or something? (ala, fsrecorder)

@Jagzero VBS2 v2.0 got a graphics upgrade from using the arma 2 engine instead of the ArmA 1 engine.

VBS2 v2.0 is using the Arma2 engine VBS2 v1.0 used Arma 1 engine so its a graphics upgrade amongst other things.
