I really do feel sorry for the youth of today & generations to come.
We are losing all of the great Country Performers of the 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's. They will never be replaced ! The performers today don't even come close ! WE HAD THE Best Songwriters and the Best Singers EVER !!!
There is just NO Comparsion !
All the great Performers of the 60's thru the 90's are almost all gone now and NO ONE will EVER fill their shoes, EVER !
SO SAD ! JERRY WALLACE WAS ONE OF THE BEST ! RIP Jerry !

I use this song in church when I want a song to describe how Christ wants us to burn our bridges, and give all we own, to get to Him and to get to Heaven. It is perfect for that use also.

@marciaillig , The nice thing about most original country music is there is a positive message that can be applied in invarious scenarios. Bobby Goldsboro's Honey is a great example. Jean Chapel, the writer of this song would likely be very pleased that you are doing that. Thank you!
