King Kong Jane 'LIVE' at Baybeats 2007 - My Brown Lollipop

BAYBEATS is Singapore's annual indie music festival held at the Esplanade by the bay. Estimated to have acquired a fan base of up to 70,000 music lovers, this outdoor celebration of music and youth has grown to become the biggest live indie music festival in South East Asia.

Since 2001, Baybeats has sought to showcase good local, regional and international indie bands. Seeing themselves as a 'platform to profile local acts' and to uncover yet undiscovered indie musicians, Baybeats held hundreds of auditions in January to source for promising indie and alternative groups. Only the top 10 bands were selected to perform in this 3-days festival.

King Kong Jane was the first in the line-up to rock the Nokia Powerhouse Stage on 3 August 2007. Regional music magazine JUNK on 'My Brown Lollipop': "Unpretentious lyrics, classic rock riffs and clean sounds wraps the track up in a catchy little package!"
