My family used to visit the Botanical Gardens at least once a month when I was young. It was during the 1970s when I grew up in HK.

@legendarybloodfang No, I lived there from 1949 - 1950 and returned in 1961 and 1989. The first period were the best years of my life.

Originally there was no music with the film, which was sold in silent copies to the public, amongst others by Asian Photo Supply. At that time a LP was released with Coronation music and I found that great too and used it to show my copy of the film. I have wondered whether there are any other 16mm copies around!

Thanks! Michael, appreciate to let us enjoy the old Hong Kong again, I am a HongKong people and I was born in Hong Kong, I never see these kind of film even recorded by the elder HK peoples.

I do not remember I went to Botanical Garden when I lived in Hong Kong. I remember the music played by the military band. Where is that Botanical Garden? Is it still in Hong Kong now??
