OMG a downtown with homeless people, say it aint so! yea of course it has homeless people but it didn't use to have anything to do in it but now it does kind of. Along Washington there is a block long strip of clubs that used to be porn shops and along roosevelt and 4th st there are a couple of really cool bars in old homes. Those homes used to be drug houses. And pretty soon the Jackson Street district will be built and then downtown will completely take off from there.

This is not downtown Phoenix, it is up north. Downtown has had about 95% of its buildings torn down in favor of high rise office buildings. Still has lots of homeless, soup kitchens, shelters and blood banks though. Aren't city planners PC and brilliant?

Coffee houses and wine bars my butt. Forget that pretentious yuppie-twit business. Where's the dive bar pool hall? How about a nightclub or two? All night diner? Pizza parlor maybe? Taco stand? Sub shop? Something.....
