@BCraven04 please go to 'Phil Kelsall' he's the resident organist at the Blackpool tower,there are some beautiful photographs of the ballroom interior.

I love the tower ballroom, so unique. I have in my collection quite a few bertini's 78s. I play them still and the sound is remarkably good. I reckon he is underated as he not up there with the likes of hylton, ambrose, payne, nobel and hall etc. I enjoyed both the recordings and the pictures of the ballroom. Well put together. Look at the ballroom full of people! I would loved to have been a fly on the wall..many thanks for loading this.

Lovely ballroom but what a pedestrian band played there.Terrible limp rhythm section.Such a big venue deserved a sharper snappier band

Bertini recorded these songs in a small London studio. Normally he would have a huge brass section but for sound purposes it had to be toned down, especially when he recorded on the radio and on home records.
To hear what his band sounded like inside the ballroom, I recommend the below record which is on youtube.
