Made for Animation, Fall 2008.
We looked at a series of different logos and title sequences, and then were instructed to make our own using an object of choice and our name. Goal: learning how to move the camera.
I found a castle I really liked, and found a dark jade texture for it. I wanted, with both the object and the dark background behind it, to make it darker than most would. I tend to like dark earthtone colors, but in this case it was to help my shiny, shiny name stand out more.
Getting the camera to behave how I wanted it to was a challenge. Near the end it constantly wanted to do an extra 360-spin that turned it away from the objects at the best part. But with some experimentation and tweaks, I managed to make the camera move the way I wanted it to, and I'm happy with how it turned out.
