I think I probably might know why it also died is probably because of the capacitor is completely melted down (in my opinion) and caused the fan to stop spinning I'm not really sure though.
P.S. It's kinda funny though at 0:09 - 0:15 of the snow falling off the blades lol.

The capacitor was fine. I think the deterioration within the motor from moisture is what caused it to go out.

Just a commercial on tv, I didn't actually go outside since the snow was so deep so I just opened the sliding door and stuck my arm out.
