This tutorial is just showing you the basics of making a drum pattern for your rap/hip hop beat.

I am doing a whole series of these hip hop tutorials, so hopefully by the end of them, you will have a decent understanding on how to make a hip hop beat. I will be using FL STUDIO 9 XXL PRODUCERS EDITION for these tutorials. If you don't have that program, I would advise you to get it, it's a great program! Otherwise if you don't have it, you may still be able to follow along. I will try to keep the tutorials as general as possible, but at the same time specific to the program. So if you know your way around your program, you could easily follow along with these tutorials.

@Vbaby706 or you can just drag the sound over to where you want it.....

@SwiTchPro413 each sound is in it's own channel. the kick, clap, and snare are the preset channels that open when you open fl studio. you can add new sounds by going to your sound packs... for instance, say you want to add a cymbal crash, you would right click the sound > click open in new channel > and that's how you add new sounds :0) hope that helps.
