Hey Mottentottenham its a funny thing "a drink in westport " line was what stood out to me as been the the best part of the song as it was more than not meant to disturb the rhythm while giving the reader an image of the man in question. Its a line people that will stick in the head of someone who reads it. I know you are not putting down the song as by your comment I guessed you liked it but I think that line made the song. it's a shame shane messed up the line "... a drink in westport" - he shouldn't have changed the rhythm of those two last lines in every verse being the same.
