  • 429 is a ford motor, however, caddy did produce a 425

  • WOW...you know a lot about cars. Ford did make 429 which was a cobra jet motor, they also made a 427 cobra jet...OHH and CHEVY also made a 427. HOW COULD THAT BE?? So, you know Caddys huh? Well, do your homework again..late 50's and pre 63 cads ran a 390.(..omg, ford had that size too!)..after 63 it was rebored and stroked and became a 429 cid and was used til 67. Then they switched to 472, 500 and yes...finally 425 in 77. Get your facts straight...I built this 429 CADILLAC motor, every inch.

  • simply sick. love how you added not a flower car, cuz thats what i automatically thought too! hey, didn't the speedshop on that movie " hollywood knights" have a similar rig?

  • Thanks bro...that was a 63....the BLUES BROTHERS had a 67, but it was atrue flower car. I wish I knew all the past of this car...I had a Cad collector tell me it was a GM prototype...who knows. I have to say though , the fit and finish on it is tight. Also, this was made out of high optioned Brougham...flower cars were ususally made from non a/c and crank window Calais models...really, I dont care, I just love the car!

  • Please, I must inform you if no one else does, It looks like GM Threw Up!

  • Opions are like assholes...every body has one. Funny...I own several finished older cars...including a 70 SS El Camino...and this car still draws more attention. You are actually the first person ever say anything negative...which leads me to believe you prolly drive a shitbox or a mini van.

  • @blueflamealley ford also made a 428CJ. Love them old caddys. my buddy had a 70 coupe Deville with the 472.. man, what a highway star that thing was,, kickdown to 2nd on an onramp and hold on... would loved to have seen it with lower gears.. my other buddy had a 72 eldo with the 500,, it was kinda weird seein a big old tank layin down nasty FWD rubber, lol. i had a set of 472 heads i wanted to throw on a 500, but never got around to it..nice REAL NICE ride man

  • Ultimate Redneck Luxury

  • Very nice! Only slightly better than this is an early model Mustang I once saw that someone had put on a 4wd chassis. Like your Cadmino it looked so good it made me wonder why Ford never thought of a production version. Gosh, the idea of throwing bales of hay in the bed of this thing just tickles me silly!
