MR2 Turbo Exhaust Sound

Starting the car and putting it on ramps for a bit of routine work. Was a cold winter morning and the car had been stood for a fortnight, least said, there is a bit of condensation inside the exhaust pipe work!

how fast have u been in the car, some mr2 max out at 145mph something like that depends on the mods really?

Hi mate. Id rather not claim my top speed on here, plus ive never had it officially tested.

A nicely modded Rev3 should be able to sniff the 150mark i would have thought, im not 100% sure on the gearbox limitations TBH.

Although i have heard of a hybrid gearbox rebuild using old early and late spec insides which can give a long enough 5th gear to get close to 180mph!

That is by far the sickess exhaust I have ever heard on a car. My friend has the same exhaust but he has some engine work done as well, sounds mean as hell in real life

has that got 2 exhaust pipes, or 1??? becuase the condensation is only coming out of 1 so i am not sure and also the angle is a bit funny???

I think its pretty clear that i only has one exit! Its a Blitz NUR Spec as mentioned previous. And yes it does come out at an angle, but thats just the design of the system :)

Nice mr2 man, I just bought myself a 93 turbo and I can't decide what exhaust I want. The blitz nur spec sounds beautiful but I dislike the fact that you can see all the pipe work sticking out. Ugh I'm too picky.
