A White House spokesman says politics was not a factor in President Barack Obama's remarks about building a mosque near the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in New York City. Warren Levinson has a closer look at the controversy. (Aug. 16)

  • Your radical agenda is starting to show President Clueless. What are you doing to the people of our country??? Is this how you honor those who died in 911? This is how you show support?? Stop trying to be a constitutional lawyer and try and lead. You are hardly a leader, but could you just try and do what you were elected to do??? You have turned us into the DSA not the USA. The divided states of america. Maybe you should just tell us to burn the flag now!!!!

  • Well this is the point in time when Americans prove whether they actually believe in the Constitution and the principles of private property or whether they think it is all a bunch of bullshit. According to the polls, it looks the later may be the case.

  • hello, the only people responsible for the permit/permission for the building of the mosque is the planning board that approved it.. if the people in NY don't want it, they hold a special election and get a new planning board in place that reflect the masses views.. simple..

  • Nuke Mecca during Hajj and send the followers of the child raping false prophet Muhammad to hell to stand in line with Mo sucking the pigshit off allah's dick

  • @alby711 Thank you

  • @alby711 Ever heard the saying "Leader of the Free World"?? He is elected to govern and he is too busy apologizing to govern.

  • Truth be told, the mosque couldn't any more offensive to New York(or the rest of the United States, for that matter) than that chipmunk-joweled scumbag, Jerry Nadler. He's one of the most loathsome wretches in the entire Congress, in my opinion(and that's saying something).

  • Obungle is by far and away the very worst "president" this nation has ever had, and he has the very worst congress to go along with him. But even they are getting afraid that he's ruining the country for Islam, especially after his outrageous Mosque statement, slapping every victims family in the face! Damn YOU Obama... Damn YOU!

  • @gone556 Murfreesboro, Tennessee/ Wilson, Wisconsin/ Temecula, California/ Staten Island, New York are other places which have recently denied mosques from being built.

  • Thank you Obama for stating the obvious everyone knows they have the right that is not the argument its a sensitive area. Muslims did kill 3,000 Americans on 9/11. You don't see people complain about mosques going up anywhere else in America!

  • @nellie2581 i believe its a few block away not on the site. So I don't think its a big deal. Otherwise I too am against building anything other than a memorial on "ground zero."

  • @ladylordess presidents are not elected to "lead" but to uphold the Constitution of the United States. Though I do agree he's doing a poor job of that on other issues (ie healthcare)
