Cape Parrots flying over the pecan trees and Celtis africana during June this year. These trees are protected as part of the Cape Parrot Sanctuary. Just look how alive they are. There are less than 1,000 Cape Parrots remaining in the wild, so this flock represents over 5% of the global population. We had a flock of over 270 Cape Parrots arrive at the sanctuary in July.
