@sidewayssam Ty .... I heard this on a reportage in the german TV, its like doing a facelift for ure car, back in that times anyone whould have a newer beatle so they came up whit some newer Window kits for the back.... shure now a day nowone whould do this... but if u Life in 1940 and had an old bug u whould do this eventualy to ;-)

@FireballGER i have never heard of people doing kits they way you have said,they other way round,yes,and i have been into bugs for 30 odd years...and it still is definately not a 58,as it would have had semaphore indicators in the b pillars,having looked closer ,it is a 68,with 57 back lights on,and your english is better than my german,so don't worry!it s more than fine....
