Ecureuil (Squirrel) AS350 B2

This is the actual state (March 2010) of my AStar heli project. There are still a couple of things to be done. The most important thing is the first testflight of the machine.

you just get the money and then start building it. it took me 2 years to come this far... (to be honest i had 2 long periods, when i could not work on this project...)

a lot of time was spent getting familiar with technical stuff or find out ways how to ralize this or that detail...

black is not a good idea cauze of the temperature the materail has in summer time. it's getting hot and out of shape in a worst case scenario....

I can really recommend you to install this nice Starflex rotorhead. It's not only nice to look at... it's also making this helicopter to be flyable like a real one (as I can tell you from my own experience)

Oh ya that is awsome, I just love the scale rotorhead , I really got to install one on mine.
