True Spaniards are white. Spanish is an awesome language and I take pride in it, but that's messed up to be hateful against Mexicans for being "Indians", you cant judge a whole group of people like that. Discrimination isn't right.

I'm Mexican-American and I never referred to myself as Spanish. Spanish people are ugly just like White Americans.

@redluis19 It is most common among the ignorant, of course, but can be attributed to the large spanish speaking mestiza and amerindian population that we harbor. Because most of these people are not "white" many then come to the conclusion that Spain itself must not be "white ". The error in that logic however is very apparent.
