These are 20 of my favorite ads out of thousands I produced in the 20-year period 1985-2005 in Humboldt County. One of the fun things about producing TV ads in a small market is that you get to wear all the hats: writing, shooting, directing, editing, and acting in your productions. I created in 2004 for a sales rep to take to a local employment agency--she didn't know it was bogus, she thought it was a real spec spot to show them. They had actually gotten me my first job in Humboldt County as an Announcer/ Producer at radio stations KATA/KFMI in 1982 and I wanted to play a joke on them. Much hilarity ensued after they realized I was kidding about having a lot of drug raps and felony convictions. (I don't have that many.)
