youtube is not really about the constructive criticism, that's mainly because the original artist almost never gets to read the comments posted

It is if the artist made the vid and posted it to his own channel then yes he would be able to read the comments.

if you're talking about some local bands or something, that might be true
but the big popular bands got people managing their channels for them.
and this channel for instance is from some diehard JoCo fan posting a show because he got permission for it
and i doubt he'll bother reading this
