How can you sit down with someone of this talent level without looking him up on Wikipedia beforehand? You didn't even ask about Orbs, Vegetarianism, anything bass related. You asked about Paul's hair and mentioned Kentucky. As someone who really appreciates how much of an original approach this guy takes to playing bass in metal music, this was largely disappointing. I'm not going to suggest that you blew Dan to get this interview, but someone definitely got blown for this to happen. Bad form.

@asharp12 Dear, I don't know which member(s) I'm interviewing beforehand a lot of the time... I find out when I arrive. And if I deserve to die for not stalking every band I interview, then.. uh.. sorry? haha, I'm actually really sorry for you that I get to sit and hang with your favorite bands while you tell random chicks to go die. Good luck with that!

@NoAppend Hey man, Dan's dad here. Tryin' to be fair-minded and all, and I don't like to, you know, meddle in my son's business.... but some of this chick's questions were.......very uninformed. I agree with whoever said that maybe she should have done just a WEE check on Wikipedia (even?) to know a LITTLE background on the band and not ask Dan stupid questions about personnel changes and such (and "was there any crap behind that change?" I mean....c'mon....). Dan is smart. He's not shy.

THAT GUYS EYE MOVEMENTS TELLS HIS TRUE EMOTIONS. HE LOVES PUSSY AND SATAN,
I was psyched to see a Dan Briggs interview I hadn't seen before but I have to agree with many of the other comments on here. True to form for most metal interviews this one was lame at best. If I went to work and performed my job at the level of this interviewer I would not expect to retain my job. Calling yourself "Punk" and claiming you do what you want is hardly a passable excuse. Also a huge class move to stereotype all from Kentucky as being unfamiliar with "big words". Aim High!

@CaioS34 i'm from kentucky... not sure what you're referring to there. and everyone should chill out. my site has "punk" in it due to MY view on shit, not necessarily the person i'm interviewing. this was also VERY early in my interviewing career, so... yeah.. i'll take it as everyone being majorly j-face that i get to talk to their favorite musicians while they sit at home and lose at halo while cruising youtube. SORRY, FOLKS. can't please 'em all!! :D
