  • Response to: "...when you say its a lot of work, is it fun at the same time?"

    Answer:

Lots of work and LOTS of fun...

When you get paid to do something you love, sometimes it's hard NOT to work all day, every day...

In the long run, No Better Job in the World.

  • @0:18 Haha, Rod, you're so youngie-cutie. Such a complete difference from your corporate look today.

  • 2:28 thats some good true advice from Monte Krol. I downloaded the Left4Dead2 authoring tools from steam and started learning level design with Hammer Editor. Really gives me experience in level designing. You can train with Cryengine 3 or UDK.

  • @Titonicrupture What is the point to anything if u do not apply this to any other profession? What i mean is usefull tips is desirable. And this bullshit of loving what u do and stuff is an excuse to pay less than the market pay already. cause u just like what u do and wont change jobs... If an employee knows u dont have intension to change jobs, it doesnt apply to make better place to work, for example.

  • @JMeyN40 What the guy ment is when he said follow your heart is that follow your passion. You need to have passion for video games in order to become a video game designer otherwise whats the point?
