@LeilaLilzMathy Not always . . . she sat quite a few down.
-
What an athlete! Before Johnson, before Patterson and Liukin, there was Shannon Miller... and she still outshines them all.
-
she always sticks her landings.
-
@tmwalkerm Okay - thanks. I can never keep all of Shannon's sicknesses, injuries and mental collapses straight. Still she was the best thing America ever produced.
-
@beautifulsarah100 was a combination of both, she took the advil for a fever and hadn't eaten anything due to having the flu.
-
Isn't this the event where Shannon had been taking Advil on an empty stomach because she'd never taken pain relievers before and had no idea that you should take them with food? Isn't that why she was sick - not stomach flu?
-
Since this was at the worlds how come this didn't get a 9.800?
-
Her face at the beginning seemed kind of annoyed (wrong word), like she is saying "just let me do my vault."
-
Exactly what were the qualifications in these worlds? Was there no compulsory round?
-
what's wrong with her face?
I love the British coverage.

Shannon in those days, when she was sick, was more exciting to watch than most gymnasts in these days, when they're perfectly healthy.
