I drive a crash truck at my job and its ridiculous how many times each night how many people narrowly avoid crashing into the back of me. 90% of people need their licenses revoked.

I don't agree with the comments like "put out cones, signs, etc." because I came to this video by watching another where a cop was babysitting a construction zone (with signs, cones, arrows, etc) and he was hit by a driver that wasn't paying attention.

Also, after the crash, we can see cones and barrels. The common factor in these 2 videos was a driver doing something other than driving. People know how to operate a vehicle but most don't know how to drive one.

@Richierich1285 Sure do! TCS sign off on the days activity and on site at all hours of the job. Reason I quit my job the company I worked for did not do what they were supose to and they wanted me to sign off every day with the same pay rate as a truck driver I walked. I was not about to sign documents stating the job was set properly when I knew it wasn't. When I was an OTR trucker you get pinched and you are off on your paper they could get you for falsifying a felony I was not signing it.

@Richierich1285 For a situation like that required a lot more than cones Traffic control Manual would recommend that you have signs spaced according to posted speed at least 4 warning of work then a lane deleniator with cones or barrels a good lawyer could get that driver a lot of money.

@ihaveaclue I had to drive the crash truck too and you are correct many driving should be denied a license including some in the law. I use to hate flagging you never know who is gonna roll up on you one time Sheriff of Iberville parsh rolls up asked me a question I could not answer and he went ape shit because I could not tell him exactly when we would be done? I told him the longer we stood there wondering would be tacked onto the job please go as instructed WHAT A PRICK! Locals agreed.
