You need more than a good mic. You need to either mic up the interviewees on their clothing or invest in a boom.

Not too bad. I can tell you are having fun and genuinely interested. From a non-film makers perspective, I think the overall production is decent. Editing needs work and some camera angles need work (especially while he is showing you how to make a drink). Keep working, Bob. I think you're doing a good thing, and I like the idea.

I second everything If4tune wrote. Your camera person definitely needs to shoot lots of B-roll also, gives you a ton more editing choices.

* Then you need to use all those closeup shots that you didn't shoot, to A) pull up and tighten dialogue and B) to show us what the H3LL is going on!

Training ... So this was your first lesson in how to make a video (apparently) -- go out and find a copy of "Shoot News, Make Money with your Camcorder" to learn more ... (after all you are trying to be 'entertainment news' are you not?

Appearance ... you need to take a travel iron with you on location, or change of outfit ... one for driving and rehearsals ... another 'star' outfit to wear on camera ... you look way too disheveled.

Editing ... Whoa, lots to work on here! Tighten things up... the slow wacky wipes can be used if used as a campy thing .... but as is, you have a lot of dead moments when I thought about turning off the .... oh u know what I mean, surfing away.

I made it 4 mins in only cuz I'm addicted to coffee. You asked for it, so here's the unabashed review.

First ... Huell Howser you ain't Bob, so - much less of you "on" camera, and more of your guest and especially the 'thing' they are doing / talking about.  I wanted the camera to zoom in past the back of your head after about 4 sec. Then I kept wanting cutaways to interesting things like roasters as he was talking about them.
