This is a short story of my 1400 mile bicycle journey from Tokyo to the southern tip of Japan. This trip was done in the fall of 2007 and the piece was produced by my co-worker Daisuke Sato.

This bloke has given me an idea of something to add to my 'bucket list'. I have friends in Tokyo and other parts of Honshu & Kyushu and I would like to see the countryside a a slower pace than the train or bus, so it makes so much sense. You only live once.

Awesome video sir. You are a Boss. youtubed this because i have my mind set on doing this with a friend of mine in the summe of 2012 ( been to the country several times before, like 8 ) and videos like this is just adding to the motivation. a great feat.

lmao im not complaining on yourself...but in my country..we will never have that kind of tv/media exposition for a bike trip like this one

This is my job! This is what I do for a living. It was all self done with no TV coverage. I make videos for a living even on vacation trips like this. I just finished another 3000 k trip that will be posted in a month or two. You've done Kagoshima to Hokkaido. I have too. However, these videos are about my experience like it or not. It's about the journey and not the destination or the distance.
