Actress ELIZABETH ASHLEY, who played Maggie in the 1974 revival of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" remembers playwright Tennessee William's words on the play.
By special arrangement with WNET/Thirteen, this episode of "Theater Talk" will premiere on CUNY TV (channel 75 in NYC) March 8 at 8:30 PM; repeats are scheduled for March 9 at 12:30 PM and March 10 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM. WNET/Thirteen will broadcast the Cat episode April 4.

Wow, what I wouldn't give to have seen her in that play. Everybody agrees she was the best. So many great stage performances are lost because nobody thought to just film them.

Elizabeth Ashley, to me, was the best at that Role. She made it come alive! She is by far the most gifted, talented actress I ever worked with. Amazing woman!
