Federal health officials have confirmed six cases of human swine influenza in British Columbia and Nova Scotia and are warning more cases are likely in the near future, as medical personnel around the world test for the virus linked to a serious outbreak in Mexico.

Federal Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq said at a news conference in Ottawa on Sunday that two people from B.C. and four from Nova Scotia had "relatively mild" symptoms of H1N1 swine flu and have since recovered.

"But these cases are likely not the last we'll see in Canada," she said.

Aglukkaq urged Canadians to take certain precautions to prevent the human-to-human transmission of this strain of swine flu by washing their hands with hot water and soap, covering up their mouth and nose when sneezing, and staying home and contacting their family physicians if ill, particularly those who recently visited Mexico and have flu-like symptoms.

Health officials also advised Canadians to get flu shots as well as visit www.fightflu.ca and www.voyage.gc.ca for more information.

Well, as an "educated" person, you will have seen the "anthony quinn - Libya" movie (Ahmar Mukhtar, I think the man is called).

THAT is the Libyan experience of western govt. And so when Ghaddafi speaks and tells you that the UN shoudl be called the "UN Terrorists", and that swine flu is man made, why do "educated" people think he is a fool ?

Yes, but "they" know that many will grasp whats going on, and be one step ahead - so THEY go 3 steps ahead.

If I was going to do this, as an evil govt, i would:

Get you all complacent, by hitting you with 1 mild dose of man made swine flu (all the rumours of man made made diseases, will be worn out, in this period).

Then I would use the data of how fast it spread, and where, and how people reacted, to plan the next attack.

I would give govt workers "good" vaccines, and you, some death jab !

There a reams and reams of historical data that shows deaths due to influenza of either H2N2 of H1N1....

you do understand influenza is a species hoping illness that jumps from Bird to Big to man...usualy from areas where farmers and swine live in close proximity.

Let me ask you this what would be the point of developing a Virus and a Vaccine both of which are very expensive if we could just as easily kill people off with Gama radiation?
