Bah! The camera cut off at the end when you clearly got the biggest puff and burst of boatspeed. What happened?!!? Looks like there might have been a bit of a round up. The 145 is the super J, in my opinion. My family has a 130 out here on the east coast called Cilista. Love it. Fast as hell, comfortable to cruise. Easy to handle all around.
PS: That's the most tame 15-20' seas I've ever seen...... : )

Since then we have learned what kites to put up in heavy air to make the boat faster and stable...
J-145 is a great boat, and since this race we've had many races with great success. 1st place Tranpac 2009 for example....we will be trying to defend that title this year...I have a lot more video, just no time to post. TD

we were seeing 25 to 27 kts of speed. the puffs were up to 35kts. the waves were pretty big 15 to 20 foot backs.
