PLEASE READ FIRST: Some highlights of the Star Mazda Series, Speed GT World Challenge, and the American Le Mans four hour race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. I tried getting shots from as many corners as I could, and I stayed on the front straightaway for the start and finish. The finish was very exciting; Adrian Fernandez was getting very close to Gil de Ferran, and although they are in different classes, they were fighting until the end. In the GT class, Flying Lizard's Jorg Bergmeister and Corvette's Magnussen collided on the last lap as they crossed the finish line for the checkered flag, giving Bergmeister the win. Unfortunately, I did not catch the crash, but had a great view of it. At the end of the race, lots of fog was rolling in, and the temperatures were dropping, making for an even more exciting race in the dark. • real cool track! almost as cool as the nurburgring.

  • yeah, it's a great track, but unfortunately it needs a facelift.

  • why? i hope they spare the corkscrew! its one of a kind real cool

  • your right, i meant the facilities and maybe putting in some runoff. the layout should never be changed:)

  • ah...you didnt tape the crash :D

  • I know! I was so disappointed when I saw it happen; I tried recording the last bit but I wasn't fast enough. Where you there?

  • I'm a fan of Flying Lizards and Porsche, but that was hardly a racing incident. He drove him to the wall. There's defensive driving and then there's what happened in that race.

  • The 'Vette's weren't even racing the whole season. GM didn't even have a racing program the first race of the season, and for them to earn the points they did at over the half-way mark, all the world will feel the warmth of the Bumble B's excrement in 2010. P.S. Jorg has tiny balls.

  • @kimifan06 the runoff is sufficient for MotoGP motorcycle racing

  • @kimifan06 Yeah, the facilities definitely show of some age, but overall the track is very good and well kept.

  • @wippermannl The layout of Laguna Seca will never change. The corkscrew is one of the most well known turns in all of motor racing.

  • hey, i was there

  • i know right!?!?!

would have been awesome to see it from a crowds POV

  • Ama kicking your ass
