Everybody, Look up mpeg streamclip on youtube(Helps alot with quality). After that, you can use a preset for after effects called MAGIC BULLET Instant HD. This is an amazing software. You can then finish it off with MAGIC BULLET MOJO which is an incredible color correction program

@gatler05 Sory i a dum dum........... u r smarticle

@cbcnate I never said it was actual HD, its just rendered into HD for fuck sakes what does your small brain not understand?
-
@gatler05 Just because you set the resolustion to HD resolution doesn't make it HD. If the original footage is not filmed in HD... it can't be turned to HD.
-
@cbcnate THATS WHAT YOU DO MORON, THIS CAMERA DOES NOT RECORD HD YOU HAVE YOU RENDER IT TO HD. ITS NOT REAL HD IF YOU DID NOT KNOW THAT DUMB FUCK. Dude shut the fuck up you dont even know what im talking about
-
@gatler05 It doesn't work that way moron.

So the thing is i can save my videos into 1920 x 1080 resolution but when it its done saving as a movie, its a bit lagging. The audio is not quite in sync with the video. I use AVI Video Editor and i use the Canon FS200, how do i stop the lag? please help!!!!!

so what i understand, you managed to get the .mod file (how? i see it as mpeg2) and run it through winavi at fullHD? I swear the camcorder is better than what its purpose is.
what happens is that my FS200 does not record in HD, I want to know if YouTube that makes it look in HD or is the resolution? what else can be converted or improve my FS200 HD? thanks

The camera does not shoot in HD, but the editing software mimics HD by increasing the sharpness and lighting as well as outputting the edited video in 1920 x 1080 resolution. Youtube will convert the file into HD!

There is no way this was shot with a Canon FS200.
I have the FS200 and it doesn't shoot HD.
But if there is some magical way that you
did get it in HD... TELL ME HOW!

The editing software is Cyberlink PowerDirector 8. I did not do anything on the video except increasing the sharpness and upconverting the video to 1080 using PowerDirector 8.

I also compressed the video using WinAVI video converter.

well, the camera stores the video at .MOD file extension. I installed the software that came with the camera to get the codec then use WinAVI to convert the video to .AVI using those settings in the description. Nice thing about WinAVI is that it converts any file as long as you have codecs for it.
