The error is assuming that Chapter two is "re-telling" the creation of man in 1:26-27, and to therefore make those two peoples identical, but that is not logically conclusive from the text.

From Genesis 2:7 onward the focus of the Book wil be on THAT family of Agriculturalists and "her Seed".

To assume that Eve is the mother of all "mankind" is an Equivocation Fallacy and a Composition Fallacy and simply not written.
