Maliha and Jade at the pool (Saint Louis Zoo)

Asian elephant calves Jade (2-1/2 years old) and Maliha (almost 3 years old) play in their whirlpool on a hot summer day in 2009. Like most elephants, these youngsters love the water, and the whirlpool is one of their favorite enrichment activities.
