Genius! now i don't have to sacrifice my needle inflaters :D

i use the same technique for aquaponics...just a T...a few things...u dont need alot of water for the constant drip..2) with airlift the rule is 2 times the lift of the depth..ie if your tube is down 1ft deep u can pump to 3ft max, however the smaller the tubing the higher the lift as the water weighs less.also u got back feed(bubble out bottom) when the pressure of water in the vert tube exceeded ur air pressure so it pushes the air down,..peace ..ill post mine soon..

PS Would be keen to see where your system is at now

Adrian that was real helpful - thanks! I'm slowly assembling bit and pieces to make my first system - don't have any experience with hydroponics or anything but I'm pretty keen and have a knack for making things work so it should work out :)
How many gallons is your air pump rated for?
